Gemma and Jamie’s wedding at Cornhill Castle

Gemma & Jamie decided they could not wait any longer and made the decision to get married under “Tier 4” restrictions.  When I left home it was a wintery day, bit of rain and cold, but as I got closer to the venue I was getting more and more snowfall.  On leaving the M74 motorway the car even slid sideways for a bit before coming to a stop.  I ended up limping the last 10 or so miles in untreated country roads eventually arriving safely at the venue.  Will they manage to get here I asked myself.?   On entering the car park area I saw the groom “Jamie” and his team, they had arrived just before me.  The venue was dressed lovely, small christmas trees running the length of the isle and with the snow still falling outside it really did have that winter feel.  The venue made sure the heating was on though, so the cold wasn’t a problem indoors.

It was a small event, “just 20” guests and sadly no meal or party afterwards. They did however get married, and they had a great day.

FEEDBACK

Hi Hugh,  Sorry we never got a chance to say cheerio yesterday, we were a bit caught up in all the madness!  We absolutely loved the ceremony and everybody kept saying how amazing you were.  Thank you so much for all your help over the past year.  We really appreciate how accommodating you have been with all the changes to dates etc.

We are so grateful, thanks again!  Mr & Mrs McPherson
